The Rail Taco is a simple concept of having a durable but low profile wrap that protects both the hand and rail.

FEATURES:

Simple and low profile. The Rail Taco Wrap keeps heat from radiating through to the shooter's hand and increases grip on the hand guard. The silicone insulation acts as insulation for both heat and friction on the rail/hand guard. Our testing with an IR Temperature gun has shown in 100+ degrees, the difference between the rail and wrap is a min/max difference of 5 - 10 F.

In addition to the the shooter benefits, the Rail Taco also protects the hand guard rail from scratches and bumps.

Even though the Cordura material is slick, it adds grip to the shooters hand. The non slip material is the right level of grip and smooth. An added benefit of the Rail Taco is the ability to tuck pressure switches and lights under the wrap in the 11 and 1 oclock position. If you're using a rail mounted pressure switch, you can adjust the cord to leave a gap or simply have the shock cord tie down the switch.
